יהדות מזרח

The Zohar (Shemot 7b) says: "At that time (the time of the Geula), the King Mashiah will be awakened to exit the Garden of Eden from the place that is called Kan Tzippor [the Bird's Nest]".

"Merging of Heaven and Earth"

"The Shechinah – the divine presence within creation- was talking through the mouth of Moshe."
So Devarim is Divine Wisdom the way it is revealed and unpacked by Moshe's own individuality, his unique voice. This book thus becomes the bridge between the written dimension of Torah, which is the revelation from Above, and the oral dimension of Torah, which is the human innovation and creativity, emanating from Below. [Zohar 3, 261a] There is a merging of heaven and earth, a revelation from humanity that originates and is consistent with the Sinaic revelation from Above.

Miriam and Tzipporah Tent

Woe to Their Wives: "R. Nathan says: Miriam was beside Zipporah (Moses's wife) when Moses was told that Eldad and Medad were prophesying in the camp. When Zipporah heard this, she said, 'Woe to their wives if they are required to prophesy, for they will separate from their wives just as my husband separated from me'" (Rashi).

B'nei Keturah

"The contrary view {that Keturah {קְטוּרָה} was someone other than Hagar} is advocated by Rashbam, Abraham ibn Ezra, Radak, and Ramban" of blessed memri.

"[T]he opinion of the Talmudic doctors: B'nei Yishma'el and B'nei Keturah are kept distinct in the account of their complaints before Alexander the Macedonian (Sanh. 91a)."

"Rabbi Shmuel bar Nachmeni say, When Avraham Avinu saw the great number of children he had through his second and final wife, Keturah [6 children total, after the passing of his first wife, Sarah Imeinu; [o]ne ancient source states that Hagar was already dead at this time (Yov'loth 19:13)], he knew that they would be harmful to Yitzchak and therefore, Avraham sent them off to the far eastern end of the world [with gifts].

What gifts [did he give them]? R. Jeremiah b. Abba say, 'This teaches that he imparted to them [the secrets of] the unhallowed [Martial] arts.'

B'nei Ever [Yoktan and Peleg] and B'nei Epher [Africa]
The Afro-Silk Road Alliance

"Asher's wife, Hadurah, is a granddaughter of Ever and a widow. By her first marriage Hadurah had a daughter Serah, whom Asher [younger brother of Gad, B'nei Zilpah] treated as affectionately as if she had been of his own flesh and blood, so that Torah commentary expounds on Serah as Asher's daughter ("Sefer ha-Yashar, Wayesheb"). According to the Book of Jubilees (xxxiv. 20), Asher's wife was named "Iyon" (probably , "dove")."

"They shall hasten like a bird from Mitzrayim and like a dove from the land of Ashur; and I will place them in their houses, says the L-rd" {Hoshea 11:11}.

"According to the midrashic Book of Jasher, Yissachar married Aridah, the younger daughter of Yobab, a son of Yoktan, eldest brother of Peleg, sons of Ever. Commentary describes the descendants of Yoktan and Peleg as "small and numerous."

One of Avraham and Keturah's six sons, Midian, synonymous with southern Jordan, was the forefather of Tzipporah, Moyshe Rabbeinu's Midianite wife.

One of Midian's five sons, Epher, is where Africa received its name according to Josephus. He also quotes Alexander Polyhistor (c. 100-40 b.c.e.) that this Epher conquered Libya and gave it his name, Africa (Antiquities 1:15:1).

Avraham say to them, 'Yitzchak is my precious son. Any nation which will enslave Yitzchak and his descendants will be punished severely in Gehenom. Therefore you should all stay far away in The East. As long as B'nei Yitzchak are enslaved among the nations, remain where you are. But when you will hear that they are living safely and securely, come and serve [with] them. In this way you will merit The Shofar of Moshiakh.'

In the days of Shlomo, some of them came to serve B'nei Yisra'el, thinking that he was Melekh ha'Moshiakh. When they saw that he wasn't, they returned to The East. They will return when Moshiakh is actually revealed, may it be speedily in our days."

Hag Sukkos Sameakh Rabbi Kerry,

Just reviewed your commentary on MyJewishLearning[dot]com with regard to Keturah.

Where is she buried?

Conducting novice research.

Thank you, in advance.

thank you for writing. It is not clear where Keturah is buried.
i do not think that Keturah was Hagar. I was simply citing the commentary that advances such a theory.
