"Two years ago my Jewish brother married a Vietnamese-American woman. After the ceremony in which they employed a Rabbi and various Jewish practices including the breaking of the glass, my sister-in-law, Vi, came out wearing a beautiful Asian style red dress. The contrast of traditions appealed to my senses and piqued my interest. I am so glad that she is now a part of our family. She never ceases to educate us and bring further diversity to our growing family. Their wedding encouraged me to look into the idea of Jews and Asians at the time. I am grateful that this blog has given the opportunity to continue my research." ~ lisaschwartz33

Introducing Vietnamese~Hila
||Tila Nguyen {pronounced WHEN} was born in Singapore,[1] where her family emigrated from Vietnam after the Vietnam War, which defeated the West. Her mother is French Indochinese, while her father is of Vietnamese extraction. Her siblings are Terri and Dani’el. When she was one year old, she and her family migrated to a neighborhood in Houston, Tejazz, until they left to reside in a gated community operated by a stricter Buddhist temple.|| The most prominent Vietnamese Jew that I am aware of is a comedian colleague of Koletkar Samson, an Indian Jewish Stand Up Comedian in the San Francisco region, Joseph Nguyen. Vietnamese Israelis are integral to IDF stuffing. She has had mud and objects flung at her in theatres in America, which is unfortunate for Americans. Tila Nguyen did not make a formal announcement with regard to her conversion to Judaism. American Media are snoopy and in dire need of Deviled Soup.
