"Two years ago my Jewish brother married a Vietnamese-American woman. After the ceremony in which they employed a Rabbi and various Jewish practices including the breaking of the glass, my sister-in-law, Vi, came out wearing a beautiful Asian style red dress. The contrast of traditions appealed to my senses and piqued my interest. I am so glad that she is now a part of our family. She never ceases to educate us and bring further diversity to our growing family. Their wedding encouraged me to look into the idea of Jews and Asians at the time.
