“Malkat Na’amah (‘agreeable,’ ‘singer’) is an ancient princess reincarnated from Na’amah bat Noach, queen wife of Melekh Shlomo and mother of his heir, and the only one of Shlomo’s wives to be mentioned by name within Tanakh as having borne a child. Na’amah is praised in Bava Kamma 38b for her righteousness, on account of which Moshe had previously been warned by G-d not to distress or provoke b’nei Ammon, as Na’amah is a descendant of Lot. ‘Do not provoke them’-with any kind of provocation, as a reward for the modesty shown by their ancestress' (Rashi). Why did they call her Na’amah? She played melodies on the drum to accompany idolatry (Yona Bar Maoz) ergo Na’amah bat Ammon is known as the Ema of Divination.”

Rabbi Laura Duhan Kaplan: What does Na'amah ("Singer") do on the ark? The Torah tells us that Na'amah's half-brother [Yuval] is the world's first musician. Na'amah, says Rabbi Juliet Spitzer, plays music on the ark to calm the animals. The Torah also tells us that the ark has a skylight. According to Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso, G-d has given Na'amah a task of her own: to collect the planet's plants and care for them in the greenhouse under the skylight.

“The drum is the most seductive musical instrument. Its rhythm reminds U.S. of our beeting hearts. In ancient times, before battles, armies would drum furiously to strike fear in the enemies' hearts.” ~ Kenneth Bi

“There was another Na’amah, and why did they call her Na’amah? She played melodies on the drum to accompany idolatry” ~ Yona Bar Maoz {Translated by: Phil Lerman, Kibbutz Be’erot Yitzchak}

Na’amah bat Hanun (ben Melekh Ammon), reincarnation of Na’amah bat Noach, was an Ammonit and the only one of Melekh Shlomo’s 1,000 wives to be mentioned by name within Torah, as having borne a child heir to the throne of Melekh David. She is also known as the Ema of Divination.

"Then did Shelomo build high places that were before Yerushalayim on the right of Har Ha'Zeitim (on the Mountain of the Destroyer which is East of Yerushalayim) for Chemosh, the abomination of Moav and for Molech, the abomination of B'nei Ammon. He did so for all of his alien wives who offered incense, slaughtered sacrifices, and prostrated themselves to their deities." ~ 1 Melachim 11:7-8
