Whatever happened to the Jews of Pakistan?

Point of no return: "The author of "From Kabul to Queens: The Jews of Afghanistan" suggests their community are descendants of Benyamin (common knowledge among Afghani Jews who would agree). Would Pakistani Jews, by extension, be included in this identification? I find the South Asian and Central Asian regions of Jewish communities interesting, particularly aligning with Rachel's progenitors (B'nei Menashe of Indochina, Bene Ephraim of India, Bene Israel of India who claim to be descendants of Levi). Where do Persian Jews fit in?"

"The Infidel"

"The Infidel is about a sort of everyman chap, second generation Pakistani, a lovable guy who's a Muslim in an everyday way. But he finds out he's adopted, and his real name is Solly Shimshillewitz and he was born a Jew. That throws him into comic situations."

"With hilarious consequences!" adds Baddiel.
