B'nei Kedem

"Son of man, set your face toward B'nei Ammon, and prophesy about them. And you shall say to B'nei Ammon; Hearken to the word of the L-rd G-d: So said the L-rd G-d: Because you said, 'Aha!' about My sanctuary for it was possessed, and about the soil of Israel for it became desolate, and about Beis Y'hudah for they went into galus. Therefore, behold I am delivering you to B'nei Kedem as a possession, and they will settle their palaces in you, and they will set up their dwellings in you; they will eat your fruit, and they will drink your milk" (Yechezkel 25:2-4).

"Because Moav and Seir said, 'Behold Beis Y'hudah is like all the nations,' Therefore, behold I will expose the shoulder of Moav from the cities, from his cities of his frontier; the beautiful country of Beityeshimot, Baal Maon and Kiriathaim, To B'nei Kedem against B'nei Ammon. And I shall give it as an inheritance [for B'nei Kedem], in order that B'nei Ammon shall not be remembered among the nations" (Yechezkel 25:8-10).

"According to the biblical account, Bereisheet 19:37-38, both Ammon and Moav were born of an incestuous relationship between Lot and his two daughters in the aftermath of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Bible refers to both the Ammonites and Moabites as "B'nei Lot". During the Exodus from Mizraim, Yisra'elim were prohibited by the Ammonites from passing through their territory."

"Ammon (Hebrew: עַמּוֹן, Modern Ammon Tiberian ʻAmmôn; "People"; Arabic: عمّون; Transliteration: ʻAmmūn), also referred to as the Ammonites and B'nei Ammon, was an ancient nation located east of the Jordan River, Gilead, and the Dead Sea, in present-day Jordan. The chief city of the country was Rabbah or Rabbath Ammon, site of the modern city of Amman, Jordan's capital."
