John Darling: Jack Carroll, and his mother, Jennifer, sit with their dogs, Sandy and Champa, in their Ashland home. Jack will soon embark on an expense-paid trip to Israel through a program called Birthright to explore his Jewish roots, which come from his father’s side. He’s already been to China with his mother to explore his Chinese heritage.
