Mrs. Shira Smiles Living the Parsha 5774: It's as if the rainbow is G-d standing between the divine justice, which desires to destroy the World, and the quality of rachamim. Din itself is rachamim; justice is kindness. The colors of the rainbow is a balanced mixture of rachamamim and din. What we're seeing, here, is a manifestation of G-dliness, a reflection of the presence of the She'China. As follows, one should not stare at it nor should one point it out to those with them; he should, rather, do as Moishe Rabbaynu did before the burning bush and hide his face [he was afraid to look upon G-d]. The enjoyment of the divine keshet, which is really two bows connected together, in its bright splendor is reserved for the righteous in the messianic era. When the righteous look at the rainbow, it is a symbol for the tzaddikim to awaken tired individuals to do tshuvah. The righteous observant ones, specifically, are not only required to awaken sleepers to repentance, but also to stand in the gap to turn away My wrath from destroying the Generation of Noah's Peers.

||My bow|| is an acronym for My holiness, Myname, My Torah, and My right hand. G-d is, in deed, intervening with the people.

When the rainbow appears in the cloud, let humanity not lose heart, let them not have Doubt of divine justice ~ evin when the World is plunged into dark clouds and desolation ~ let them be reminded by the rainbow and acknowledge the eternal vow between Creator and created: know that there is an assurance that Hashem Elokim is leading the world and arousing mercy. The ark connects heaven and earth and symbolizes divine judgment coming down to our world to let us know to turn around [repent], keep our distance, and respect boundaries. Natural phenomena is how G-d communicates disapproval or approval, such as the suddenness of the rainbow. It appears like shofar blasts to warn and protect the people with whom it has a contractual relationship. We should not out it, but whisper a bracha and hide our faces from that which destroyed with a Flood, having kept the covenant before creation. People should pay attention, but don't stare. The path of the lightning rod is the correct[ing] path. Why was thunder created? To induce aweful horror, in order to rectify divided hearts toward Hashem only. We must immediately reorient our mindset upon encountering its blinding appearance. There are other ways, besides water, that the World can be destroyed, if humanity does not repent. It's as if the rainbow is transmitting a hint: ||I'm capable of bringing strict justice into this World, but there's a certain Hesaid that I'm doing by warning Y'all beforehand.||

The red hue, representing Adam, is closest to G-dliness. When you have a moment of inspirational decision, make a rainbow. Make for yourself a sign of remembrance of the awakening that was within you. When something major is happening in your life, create a rainbow.
