Mike N. from Syracuse taught me how to do this, by way of a single frontal kick, basically. He and his crew (they honed their criminal expertise through petty thievery) were planning to bomb banks upstate using C4. Mike was their Strongman (meaning, he’d break down the front door of Houses). They taught me how to saw the barrel of a shotgun in half (which Mike smuggled into the trunk of my ghetto car wrapped in some sort of sheet during one of our many road trips, where I was always at the wheel; Greg, their Steroid-laden leader, whose pad was chock full of expensive entertainment gear, which I suspect were financed through drug dealing, motioned for me to “C’mere” and it took a second and, honestly, i was Clueless about the Drama unfolding; they seemed like charismatic guys; doing so makes the weapon more compact beneath a trench coat, for example, and easier to whip out in case things get messy). I was forced to testify against them, when the FBI appeared again (first encountered them at a parking lot, in front of his house, whom he was sharing with his family: his mom was waving “Y’all come back now, herd?” with a wide smile on her face, as the FBI escorted him for questioning: I “hired” Mike to volunteer with youth; also convinced him to register for college; his student status at a local Seminary was a guise: he was fleeing the heat and was all ready under surveillance by the FBI, but he didn’t know it), this time at my front door. They knew about my unpaid parking tickets (they tapped my house phone). Mike is restricted to a city and is not permitted to travel outside those boundaries, until probation is up. Been awhile since I checked in on his anonymous progress.

That’s the second time my closest friend at that time was busted by the FBI. My childhood friend (from an upscale ‘hood, dating all the way back to elementary school), Danny B. was caught hacking into a local community college (this was a long time ago, way before WikiLeaks and Anonymous). He and my bandmate dated back in the day. What were we thinking? lol
