Introducing Madame Park: "A President of Promise"

In the footsteps of Corazon Aquino of The Philippines and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar-Burma, Korea elected its first ever female to its top office: President Park Geun-hye aka Madame Park.

Asia continues to lead the globe in feminist empowerment. For all the wishful thinking about gender equality in America, all the while failing to elect Hillary Clinton as its first woman president, female leadership is the hallmark of East Asian prosperity and will remain so for generations to come as Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Israel, Indonesia and the Philippines have proven time and time again. Furthermore, Soong Ching Ling ruled China on more than one occasion and Aung San Suu Kyi was elected leader of Burma in 1990. And now, Korea is set to join the exclusive Asian Tigress club as Madame Park begins her historic tenure as President.
