"Half-Filipino-Half Jew Individuals":
The Jews of Color phenomenon is more dynamic than most are aware of. Close to 500,000 identify as a Jew of Color in the States alone. If you include burgeoning Jewish communities exiled in developing countries ~ such as B'nei Menashe (of the tribe of Menasseh) of Southeast Asia, Bene Ephraim (of the tribe of Ephraim) of India, Bene Israel of India, Cochin Jews of India, Bani Israel of Pakistan, Pashtuns of Afghanistan, Beta Israel of Ethiopia (who are descendants of the tribe of Dan), Kaifeng Jewry of China, B'nei Anousim (descendants of Jews forcibly converted to Catholicism during the Inquisitions throughout Spain, Portugal, and their former colonies), Abayudaya, Igbo, and Lemba communities of Africa ~ the population of Jews of Color is far larger with some estimates of Cryptos (Hidden Jews of South America, Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, New Mexico region) alone numbering in the millions. What is clearly transpiring off the mainstream radar is an ingathering of Israel's dozen or so indigenous tribes, not just of the tribe of Judah. As for Filipino-Jews, an official census (which, in Biblical texts, is conducted at the behest of Israelite leadership back in the day) has yet to be done, but based on emissary reports, an estimated 30,000-60,000 Filipinim (Hebrew word) Migrants are eligible for Israeli citizenship (based on fairly recent court decisions), a good amount of whom have aligned with the Jewish faith formally. Filipinim Hudyo are getting married and having kids, besides increasingly garnering the attention of Israeli media and filmmakers and such, so more cohesive community organizing reflecting a distinctly Filipinim identity within Israeli culture and mysticism is sure to evolve.
