The Spirituality of Silence

"Then Moshe said to Aharon, This is what the L-rd spoke, 'I will be sanctified through those near to Me, and before all the people I will be glorified.' And Aharon was silent" (Vayikra 10:3).

The response of Aharon to the death of his sons was silence.

So. Let us respond with silence.

This weekend is Parshas Zachor and Purim.
This weekend we are to remember Amalek and how they wanted to destroy Israel, the Jewish people.
This week Jews are told to remember; and remember they will do.
What better way to remember than through silence?
May their collective silent response be heard as the silence of B'nei Aharon.
