The Lion of Zion/The Kosher Krusher/Hebrew Hand Grenade/Dreidel of Destruction and aspiring Rabbi Yuri Foreman remained undefeated and made history Saturday night when he became the first Israeli to hold a major boxing belt, defeating Daniel Santos of Puerto Rico by unanimous decision for the WBA super welterweight title at the MGM Grand Arena.

The People's Champion/The Fighting Pride of Filipinos/The Destroyer/The Mexi-cutioner/Pac-Man/Pambansang Kamao "National Fist" and Musician Emmanuel 'Manny' Pacquiao of The Philippines knocked Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico down once in the third round and again in the fourth, pummeled him repeatedly with a 12th-round stoppage and easily lifted the World Boxing Organization welterweight belt. The time was 55 seconds into the final round, as referee Kenny Bayless leaped between the fighters to save Cotto a more savage beating and ignominious end.
